5/19/08- Know your limits. Don't exercise so much you burn out and quit. Keep your workouts rotating so they don't get boring. If you need some help changing them up, contact me.

5/08/08- Oatmeal is a great breakfast, but don't buy the pre-packaged stuff that is full of sugar. Go to the bulk section and buy it like that. You can sweeten it up with some honey and apple sauce, and try a scoop of peanut butter in it also. Put that all together with some milk and microwave on high for 2 minutes.  Pull it out and add milk until you get the consistency you like.

5/03/08- Try this change up. Instead of doing the plank as a timed exercise, do it as a rep exercise. When you are in the plank position lift a leg up for thirty reps. Trust me its harder than it sounds.

4/24/08- If you eat junk food don't try to cut it out totally. You need snacks on occasion to keep from going nuts. Just don't over indulge. Remember the first bite of cake will taste just like the last, so cut a smaller slice.

4/14/08- Don't underestimate the fat burning power of bodyweight exercises. Such as squats, pushups, pullups, and dips to name a few. Next time your plopped down in front of the TV try some of these during the commercial breaks.

4/09/08- Here's a good idea for a snack. Grab a handful of peanuts and a glass of fat free milk. You'll get healthy fat from the peanuts, which you need. You will also get some good protein from the milk.
